When working or volunteering with children under the age of 18, The Criminal Records Act requires that a Criminal Records Check be performed for "a paid or volunteer position".
All volunteers within the Red Deer Catholic Schools require a Criminal Records Check, signed Volunteer Registration and Confidentiality Agreement and an insurance policy with $2,000,000 liability (when driving students of field trips).
